This book is about No. 19 Fighter Squadron from its birth in 1915 until the present day. With over 380 pages and more than 100 photographs and line drawings its claim to be one of the most comprehensive squadron histories ever published seems well substantiated and anyone who has served with 19 squadron should avail themselves of a copy. Not that service with this squadron is necessary for enjoyment of this reference book, for diary of events, combat reports from the two great wars and the anecdotes and reminiscences of squadron personnel make for most interesting reading.
